What is a paradigm in simple terms?


A paradigm is a set of assumptions that creates a viewpoint of the world. In order to explain what a paradigm is, let's compare them to a pair of glasses.


If the glasses are tinted red, the person looking through them will see everything through a red filter, or their paradigm.


WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF…


Instead of waiting until the circumstances are just right to go after your dreams, you started acting on what you know right now?


You very likely know many things you can do to earn more money and be more successful.


That does not necessarily mean that you do all of them.


One of the great secrets of success is to integrate the valuable information that you have with your behavior.


You just have to decide and be clear on what you want because, if you want it badly enough, you’ll get it.


WHAT KIND OF LIFE WOULD MAKE YOU FEEL HAPPY AND FULFILLED?


This is important.


Forget about your to-do list for a few moments and let your mind visualize about how you would really like to live—the kind of life that would make you feel happy and fulfilled.


The reason so few people are living this way is because they never take the time to do this.


A person’s paradigm—ideas that are fixed in the subconscious mind—determines if they’ll be successful because the paradigm (which is a collection of habits) literally controls their behavior.


When people change their habits, their results change.


However, you can change your paradigm one step at a time.


And as your paradigm changes, everything in your life changes.


If the knowing has to do with the conscious mind; the doing has to with the subconscious mind – which is where the paradigm resides…


The question becomes how do you move what you know from your conscious mind to your subconscious mind?


Change your paradigm and change your life!


How do you do that?


With REPETITION AND EMOTION.


Repetition creates a new habit


You do it by impressing the image of the “new you” on your subconscious mind every day while feeling really good and excited about the new life you’ve decided to create.


When you do that day after day, you create a new habit. Repetition creates a new habit. and you automatically begin to do the things that will get you to where you want to go.


If you’re wondering how that’s possible in just a few minutes a day, think about this…


Picture a jar that is half full of murky water. There’s a faucet above it that drips one drop of water into the jar every 30 seconds.


What happens to the water over time?


The murkiness begins to fade.


It’s not noticeable at first, but soon, you can see a difference.


The water gets lighter and lighter and eventually it will become clear. It happens according to natural law.


Well, that’s exactly how you can do this. It’s a consistent, spaced repetition process that changes you from the inside out.


So for the first step - you need to create a daily affirmation - which is something you read out loud every day.


A daily affirmation is intended to use your thoughts as a guide. ... By repeating your affirmation out loud or silently within your own mind, it can help guide your thoughts to the right frame of mind to achieve your goal or task.


For example, before speaking publicly, you may say “I am strong and I can do this” or “I believe I can make an impact.”
